In optical modem router mode, the router's port forwarding is just for show, and any connections coming in at the optical modem layer are blocked. If you don't want to change the bridge but find it troublesome to send every rule to the super admin backend, the DMZ host is the middle route: the optical modem hands over all inbound traffic to the router. On the night I accompanied Shi Ping through my video, the NAS direct connection was fully uplinked, and Switch connection went smoothly....
