What else can old cameras do? Don't throw away the obsolete 4K 1080P; taking it from the cloud can do three more things
I didn't let the two 1080P camera cameras retired from 4K surveillance go into the drawer: first change the password and disconnect from the external gateway to disable cloud uploads. One device inserted an SD card as a cat watcher, and the other ran through RTSP feeding, feeding it into the NAS, just picking up a stream of footage for free. The most respectable fate for old cameras with suspended firmware updates is to never touch the cloud again....
