Problem Diagnosis
the router management page won't open (entering 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 is unresponsive), there are several common reasons:
- the wrong connection method - you must connect to the router's LAN port with a network cable or make sure WiFi is connected
- IP address is wrong - The default gateway of different brands of routers is different (192.168.31.1 for Xiaomi and 192.168.0.1 for TP-Link)
- browser issues – DNS caching, proxy settings, cookie conflicts,
- router failure – firmware crash, hardware damage,
detailed steps
Scenario 1: Check the connection + enter the correct IP (highest priority)
- Wired connection : Connect your computer to the router's LAN port (usually a yellow port) with a network cable
- confirm WiFi: If you are wireless, make sure that you are connected to the router's WiFi (not the other router's)
- check the label on the back of the router: Most router back stickers say the default gateway address and account password
- common brand default IP:
- Xiaomi/Redmi: 192.168.31.1_HTML72__TP-Link:192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1Huawei: 192.168.3.1_HTML86__ASUS: 192.168.1.1type IP in your browser's address bar instead of searching with a search engine

U disk flashing (taking Xiaomi as an example):- download the official firmware for the corresponding model
- formatted as FAT32 named
miwifi.binorrouter.bin - plugged into the USB port of the router
- Power Off → Press and hold RESET → Power on → Wait for the blue light to flash and then release
Option 5: TTL Serial Brushing Machine (Ultimate Solution)
applicable to situations where none of the four options can be saved, requiring:- prepare the USB to TTL module (CH340G or PL2303)
- connect the TTL cable to the TX/RX/GNDof the router motherboard
- set the baud rate with Putty or other terminal software 115200
- go to the U-Boot command line to flash the firmware
This scheme has the risk of bricking, so please be cautious if you are a novice
