IPTV image quality blurry, characters not full screen when zoomed in? I adjusted all three settings at once, and my mom's home had to find a high-definition TV for two years
When I got home and watched my mom's dramas, the actors' faces on TV were all stretched horizontally, and the images looked blurry as if covered with a veil. Turns out, it's not broadband: the set-top box's aspect ratio is stuck at 4:3, output resolution is still standard definition 576i, channel number has been stuck in the wrong segment for two years. I adjusted each of the three places, and the characters were correct and the TV was clear. My mom thought I had switched to a new TV....
