First, the conclusion: it won't turn on, it's not because the router is broken. 90% of the time it's one of the three of 'incorrect entry point, incorrect network segment, or wrong password.' first clarify: which routers are 192.168.0.1
not all routers run 192.168.0.1; this is the first easy place to get stuck. So if your router can't open 192.168.0.1, the first thing you need to do is the sticker on the back of the router . Tenda's sticker reads "Management Page: 192.168.0.1" or tendawifi.com, while Mercury prints 192.168.0.1 or melogin.cn. Only the sticker counts; the online tutorial doesn't. My uncle's AC10 sticker was worn down to half of it. I even checked Tengda's official website by model and confirmed that 192.168.0.1 was still running.

You must enter in the browser's top address bar, then check the dropdown for a prompt saying "Go to 192.168.0.1." Click Go to open the door. My neighbor's Mercury D191G has this situation: the optical modem itself is 192.168.1.1, but after inserting the router's WAN port into the modem, a network segment conflict was detected, so the LAN was changed to 192.168.2.1. four situations where pages cannot be opened, take them as they are
the gateway has also confirmed, but the page still won't open or spins? These are the four types I stepped on, sorted by frequency:
- phone is not connected to the router's WiFi: it connects to a neighbor's WiFi or another WiFi via the optical modem, so naturally it can't get in. First, make sure you're connected to the name broadcast by your own router.
- network cable is loose : desktop network cable connectors are oxidized, router WAN cables are detached. Check the router's indicator light: if the WAN port light doesn't work, the external network cable is loose. If the LAN port light doesn't work on the computer, try replacing the cable.
- browser : HTTPS forced redirects are a major hotspot. Some Android browsers automatically add https:// in front of 192.168.0.1, but the router only supports HTTP in the background, which will prompt 'Your connection is not private.' Manually change the address to

Step 2: If you can open but the password is incorrect, don't rush reset

you really can't get it back and only need to restore it to the factory, there are some tricks to do here: while the router is powered on, press and hold the reset pin for more than 8 seconds with the SIM ejector emerging. (Tenda uses the light to flash briefly and then release), then after recovery, connect your phone to the default WiFi (see the name on the sticker), enter 192.168.0.1 in your browser to enter the settings wizard, and re-enter your broadband account password—so before you start, make sure your broadband password is ready. There's another pitfall: the app login password and management password are the same, but if you forget the management password, you have to reconfigure the app.
both the optical modem and router have collision issues with 192.168.1.1
there's also a kind of 'can't open'—it's not that it can't be opened, but that opened the wrong . Many optical modems also default to 192.168.1.1 as the management address. If the router is plugged into the optical modem, entering 192.168.1.1 might lead to the optical modem backend, not the router's backend—even if you want to change the WiFi password, all you see are words like LOID and registration, which is the optical modem page. How to check: The login box style of the optical modem backend is completely different from the router, and you can tell just by looking at the Tenda Mercury backend logo.
the correct solution is to "go to your own door": the optical modem runs 192.168.1.1, the router uses its own 192.168.0.1 (or the address found by checking the gateway), two backend devices handle two tasks, without interfering with each other. Do optical modems generally need to access the backend? Most people never need to enter in their lifetime.
