In order not to waste the 4-network port N100 small host Feiniu NAS, install a router to save a router
in order to toss, I changed the PVE (Proxmox Virtual Environment) as the bottom All-in-One to the FlyOS (FlyOS) as the bottom All-in-One, and recorded the energy consumption changes in the whole process to see if the power was saved after the tossing. Let's start with the picture
PVE plus the power consumption of 12W is basically 12W
PVE the standby power consumption of Aikai Kuaijia Feiniu OS (I forgot to measure the power consumption of running full broadband)

Feiniu OS plus iKuai standby power consumption
Feiniu OS plus Aikuaid to pull the power consumption of 1000M bandwidth.
overall, FlyOS is the underlying All-in-One energy consumption is lower, after all, there is one less system. Don't look at the little power consumption saved, over the years...... It seems that you can still buy 2 pounds of meat.
let's talk about how to implement the virtual machine installation of Aikuai under Feiniu OS, and at the same time manage NAS and iKuai.
1. After installing Feiniu OS, go to the Application Center to install the application virtual machine.
2. Turn on OVS for a network card, the network card I chose 1, so that after installing iKuai, iKuai crashed, and you can also plug it into other routers to manage the NAS, so that the NAS will not lose contact.
3. Open the virtual machine application and turn on CPU virtualization, IOMMU, and hardware direct. (IOMMU can also be left unturned, I use it for pass-through network cards when I turn it on)
3. To create a new virtual machine, select Yes for boot and set the network settings as shown in the following figure
4. After installing iKuai, log in to iKuai and pull the Feiniu OS management network port into the LAN.
restart the N100, wait for a while, the computer and the flying bull can obtain the IP, and no matter how you restart the flying bull, you will not lose contact.
why did you choose pass-through in the end, the pass-through performance is stronger, what is there to say? Turn on all network cards without going straight OVS
