the optical modem and WiFi are on, but the damage isn't just speed—there are two more issues. First, channel conflict: My optical modem 2.4G is fixed on channel 6, and AX3000T automatic network selection is also stuck at channel 6. The two transmitters on the same channel are stepping on each other, causing 2.4G IoT devices to suffer. Second, there's an extra door that can be scratched: the optical modem sticker has the default WiFi password. Most of the machines installed by technicians haven't been changed, and the neighbor just taps them with the master key and gets in. Before

start, first check whether the optical modem or WiFi is enabled and what it's calling

Don't laugh—some people really mess it up. Three steps to confirm: First, check the sticker at the bottom of the optical modem, which shows the wireless network name—the one starting with ChinaNet is it; Second, open the WiFi list on your phone, find the name starting with ChinaNet, stand next to the weak current box with a particularly strong signal, and it's secure; Third, enter 192.168.2.1, log in with the useradmin account on the sticker, and find the "WLAN" or "WiFi Settings" tabs. Inside are the 2.4G and 5G switch statuses.

a quick note: if your home list only has one WiFi name, and it's your own router name, the installer probably turned it off for you from the start. You can turn it off and don't need to read this article. If you're unsure, check the backend and check the switch status for the most stable time—it's a matter of ten seconds.

here's another zero-cost verification method, no need to go backend: find the name starting with ChinaNet in your phone's WiFi list, long-press and select "Forgot Network" (provided you're not currently connected to it). If you don't want to access the webpage backend, Xiaoyi Butler App can do the same. After binding the optical modem, go to the homepage and your device, go to "My WiFi" or "WiFi Settings," where you'll find the 2.4G and 5G switches. Just turn it off. The advantage of this road is that it can be operated remotely. I turned it off while slacking off at work, but when I got home, it was clean.

but be careful: some firmware versions of apps only allow changing WiFi names and passwords, and the toggle section is grayed. If you encounter gray ones, don't bother with the app; just go back to the webpage backend and check the method one, same thing.

One thing you must do before

This is the most important part of the entire article, and I traded my own business for it. two situations really don't need to turn it off—don't turn it off just for the sake of shutting it down

The first is that you don't have a dedicated router at home, and the optical modem (modem) WiFi is the only option. Turn it off and disconnect the whole family's Wi-Fi.
